September 19 Big Oak Ranch Golf TournamentThe Big Oak Boys' Ranch and Girl's Ranch are "Christian homes for children needing a chance". Founded by John and Tee Croyle in 1974, the homes have provided a safe and Christian environment for thousands of abused children and teenagers. We are proud to be hosting this event for the 3rd year in a row. The field is already full; however, if you would like to find out how you can donate to this worthy cause, visithttp://www.bigoak.org/. Regular member play will begin at 3:00pm that Friday afternoon. Call the Pro Shop to reserve your tee time.

October 10 AU Football Lettermen Celebrity Classic 8:00 am shotgun start for our members. The tournament begins at 12:00 noon; therefore regular play will need to end by 11:30am.

October 17 AU Baseball Lettermen Golf Tournament 8:oo am shotgun start for our members. The tournament begins at 12:00 noon; therefore, regular play will need to end by 11:30am. (practice rounds for Club Championship will need to be played Monday - Thursday or Friday morning)

October 18 & 19 (Auburn football open weekend) Club Championship Don't miss out on your opportunity to become the 2008 AU Club Champion! see below for details

October 23 Last Twilight Scramble Stick around afterwards to watch the Auburn vs. West Virginia football game! Shotgun start time will be moved up (TBA) to make sure play ends before kickoff. Extra special food will be served since it's the last scramble of the year!

2008 Club Championship - October 18 & 19

Divisions: Men - Championship, First, Second, Third (if needed) Seniors - Gross and net prizes
Format: 36 Hole Stroke Play, Pre-Flighted
Saturday the 18th: Tee times - play with your own group - register in the Pro Shop before you play
Sunday the 19th: Tee times from 10:00am - 12:00pm -you will be grouped according to your round 1 score
Cost: $75/player (does not include cart or range fee)
100% of entry fees will paid back in prizes!!
Awards presentation following play on Sunday

Administrative News:

As you may have noticed, we are making more improvements to our Club! We are painting the interior of the Clubhouse and beginning a landscape project between the Clubhouse and the cart barn. We are installing an irrigation system among the new grass, shrubbery, and stone paths! In order for us to not only make these improvements, but to continue the day to day up-keep, we depend on you, our members, to pay your monthly dues and charges promptly. From now on, a $20 finance charge will be added to any bill with a balance 30 days or older. Please avoid this additional cost by paying your bill on time. Thank you!
