During the cold weather months, if you would like to bring your own cart cover, we will gladly put it on a cart and reserve that cart for you.
Cold Weather and Frost Delay Policy
1. Maintenance will notify Pro Shop of a frost and will give an approximate time of first tee time.
2. Driving range will be open before the first
3. The putting green, #1 tee, and #10 tee will be closed until Maintenance calls The Pro Shop with a time. Gates on the course will remain closed.
4. The putting green, #1, and #11 greens are the last greens to thaw out. There will be no golfers allowed on the back 9 or allowed to skip these holes.
5. Maintenance needs a 3 hole head start to get ahead and stay ahead of the first group of golfers. This is about a 30 - 45 minute head start.
6. Of it appears that a frost is likely within the next few days, Maintenance will notify the Pro Shop in order to make tee time arrangements or cancellations.
7. Covering greens - General rule of thumb that Maintenance follows: Temperatures falling into the 20s and not getting out of the 40s the following day(s) will result in covering the greens starting the morning before the low temperatures. Greens covers will be removed after the frost melts on the first possible day following the cold. Tee times will need to be cancelled for the day that greens covering begins. Uncovering greens will take approximately 4 hours. Maintenance will give an approximate time to the Pro Shop for the first tee to open.
**It's always a great idea to call before coming out!

We were honored to have a former Auburn great, Frank Sanders, play and stick around afterwards to watch the AU v. W. Virginia game with us! We look forward to seeing all you scramblers back next Spring!

Notice: To better serve our members, beginning Monday, November 3, we will be open all day on Mondays and closed all day on Tuesdays. We will only be closed all day on Tuesdays during Standard time. We will open at 12:00 noon during Daylights Savings Time. These hours also include food and beverage. The Clubhouse Grill will be serving the regular lunch buffet on Mondays and will be available for drinks, snacks, and cold sandwiches all day; however, we will not be serving lunch on Tuesdays.

Anytime we have an outside tournament that closes the golf course to you, our members, we are happy to make arrangements for you to play at another local club. You must call our Pro Shop so that we may call and reserve your tee time for you. We hope this helps with any inconvenience.

Many of you have noticed our new landscape beautification project between the Clubhouse and the Cart Barn. I'm sure you will agree that it has enhanced that area immensely! That is just one of many improvements that will take place in the Club's future.

Clubhouse Grill News:
For your convenience, beginning Monday, November 3, 2008, we will begin offering an honor bar in the Clubroom/Lounge during the morning hours. This means any items you are able to purchase in the Clubhouse Grill when you make the turn will be available to you EXCEPT alchoholic beverages. There will be a price list and sign out sheet on which you will be responsible for including your member number, printing your name, and signing your name. Anything purchased will be charged to your member account.
Due to an increase in food and beer prices, we have had to slightly increase our prices on these items as well. We understand that it is a difficult time in our economy and hope you will find that we are still lower than several eateries throughout Auburn. Domestic beer now costs $2.50 and imports $3.50. Food prices vary.

Pool Notices:
1. Due to heavy traffic during the weekends, we are having to add more chemicals to the pool every Monday morning. The pool cleaning company is usually here between 7:00 am and 9:00 am and recommends no one swim any earlier than 11:00 am on Mondays. To maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the pool, they also come on Wednesdays and Fridays; however, they are not having to add as much of the chemicals on these days, therefore, it is okay to come anytime after 10am.

2. To make the pool more accessible to our members, we converted to a more community style pool omitting the need for a lifeguard and pool hours. Not having an employee (lifeguard) at the pool to oversee the basic needs has made it more difficult to address problems or concerns. We are asking you, as members, to help us take care of the pool. If you see a problem or have a concern, call the Pro Shop to report it immediately.

3. We now have a sign-in sheet on the bulletin board when you enter the gate. Please sign you and your guests in whenever using the pool.

4. Pool keys may only be signed out Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p in the Administrative office.

Spring is here! And so is the golf season! Here are two very important reasons you should call ahead for tee times:
1. Ensures your spot on the golf course.
2. Knowing how many people are playing on a given day helps to justify the need for a beverage cart and helps us to schedule cart guys accordingly; therefore, enabling us to provide the best service possible.
