Good news about Casino Night! Again, it is open to ALL members of AUC - Golf & Social! We encourage everyone to come out and have a great time with your fellow AUC family. Play Black Jack, Roulette, & Craps ,et al. while listening to the very talented Blanton Callin on the piano and enjoying the delicious Hor d' Oeurves. Instead of charging $20 for anyone not playing in the tournament, we have decided to assess $5 to all Local, Social, Junior, & select Region 1 members, $10 for Small Corporatations and $15 for Large Corporations. This charge will be on your next statement dated 3/31/09.
As mentioned above, you will be playing for chances to win fun and exciting prizes of all kinds! Even if you don't want to play the games, you may purchase tickets to go in the raffle.
There will be sign up sheets for Casino Night in ADMIN and the Pro Shop. We would greatly appreciate anyone interested in attending, signing up in advance so that we may know how many gambling tables we will need to accommodate everyone. We look forward to see you there!!
Don't forget to sign up for the AUC Men's Golf Association. Dues are $50/year. Their first tournament will be held May 16th and is open to all members who would like to play. You may simply respond to this email if you would like more information and an application.

From the Administrative Office
For the first time since its inception in 1999, Auburn University Club dues will increase for certain membership categories. IMPORTANT - DUES WILL REMAIN THE SAME FOR ALL CURRENT MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING (accounts current). The dues increase is as follows:

Local Full Membership: $155/month
Junior Membership: $125/month
Region 1: $100/month
National Membership $420/year (billed semiannually)

This dues increase will go into effect on April 15, 2009.

At his time we have no plans for increasing the dues for any current member in good standing as long as his/her membership remains in good standing and there is no lapse in membership. We do not anticipate an increase in current member dues for at least 12 to 18 months or until a specific membership category reaches the maximum membership level, whichever occurs first.

In spite of the current difficult economic times, we are making every effort to continue serving our members in a way that promotes enjoyment of all of our facilities for members and their families. Communication is the key to great service so help us serve you in the best way possible. Call ahead for tee times, let us know if you plan on bringing a large group to eat, and check with us when the weather is questionable. By hearing from you, we can better plan on staffing needs and also help you avoid showing up when the course is closed.
To avoid a dues increase, please bring your account current if you are delinquent or call Elizabeth Shannon at 334-821-8381 Ext. 102 to set up a payment plan.

We appreciate all of our members and hope to see you all at the club this spring!
Happy Birthday to you...!!
