October 10 AU Football Lettermen Celebrity Classic 8:00 am shotgun start for our members. The tournament begins at 12:00 noon; therefore regular play will need to end by 11:30am.
October 17 AU Baseball Lettermen Golf Tournament 8:oo am shotgun start for our members. The tournament begins at 12:00 noon; therefore, regular play will need to end by 11:30am. (practice rounds for Club Championship will need to be played Monday - Thursday or Friday morning)

October 23 Last Twilight Scramble of the Year Build your own 6 man team! Stick around afterwards to eat BBQ and watch the Auburn vs. West Virginia football game! Shotgun start time is 4:00pm. Cost is $20 cash + 9 hole cart or guest fee($22). Prizes for winning teams and closest to the hole!
November 1 & 2 - Ladies' Club Championship
November 12 Pound the Dogs Golf Tournament Support the AU Men's and Women's golf teams by playing in this fun-filled, fund raising tournament! Cost to play is TBA for members and TBA for non-members. 8:00am shotgun start - call the Pro Shop to sign up.

Saturday the 18th: Tee times - play with your own group - register in the Pro Shop before you play
Sunday the 19th: Tee times from 10:00am - 12:00pm -you will be grouped according to your round 1 score
Cost: $75/player (does not include cart or range fee)100% of entry fees will paid back in prizes!!Awards presentation following play on Sunday

Friday, October 10 - Dinner buffet menu: Back by popular demand!
Marinated pork tenderloin, stuffed shrimp, fried catfish, cheese grits, potatos gratan, fried green tomatoes, hushpuppies, rolls, and an assortment of salads and desserts
Cost: $15/person, $7.50/child (12 & under), children under 3 years old eat free

Saturday, October 11 -Due to a 4:00pm kick off time, we will be starting golfers on Holes #1 & #10 starting at 8:00am. Call the Pro Shop to reserve your tee time!
Anytime we have an outside tournament that closes the golf course to you, our members, we are happy to make arrangements for you to play at another local club. You must call our Pro Shop so that we may call and reserve your tee time for you. We hope this helps with any inconvenience.
Clubhouse Grill News:
Due to an increase in food and beer prices, we have had to slightly increase our prices on these items as well. We understand that it is a difficult time in our economy and hope you will find that we are still lower than several eateries throughout Auburn. Domestic beer now costs $2.50 and imports $3.50. Food prices vary.
Administrative News:
As mentioned in last month's newsletter, we are implementing a new policy for past due accounts.
1. After a bill becomes 30 days late, charge privileges will be revoked and a $20 finance fee will be added to your account balance until it is paid in full.
2. After a bill becomes 60 days late, golf playing privileges will be revoked until the account balance is paid in full.
Please avoid these penalties by paying your account balance on time.
